The Bible/The Word

• The Bible is the word of God.  It is complete and without flaw and cannot have anything added or taken away from it.   The Bible is alive and active and teaches us how to live and is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path, as it is explained to us by the Holy Spirit.  The word is the absolute truth as is it authored by God through His Spirit to man.   The word has the power to convict us of sin, to teach us truth and to lead us in righteousness.

God

• God has always existed in three equal persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  He spoke this world into existence and is ruler over all things.  God is truth and cannot lie.  God is holy, just and worthy of all our praise.

Father

• God has revealed Himself in scripture as a just God and a loving Father.  He sent His only begotten son into the world, to be condemned by the world, to free all those who would believe in Jesus.  God the Father has transferred all who believe in Jesus from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of Jesus.

Jesus 

• Jesus is the only begotten son of God the Father, the expressed image of God, the firstborn over all creation.  Jesus existed with the Father and the Spirit before creation but took on human form when He was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary.  He lived a perfect life and was crucified in our stead on a cross to take away the Sin of the world.   His death paid for the freedom of all who place their faith in Him.  At the moment of Faith, Jesus enters into the believer with His Spirit, and the believer enters into Jesus.  Jesus is the way the truth and the life and the only way to get to the Father is to be IN Jesus.  Jesus is the Head of the church, the Light of the world and the Shepherd of the sheep.

Holy Spirit 

• The Holy Spirit is a gift to every believer sent from the Father and the Son.  The Holy Spirit guides believers in all truth as He speaks the words of God to us.  The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and helps the believer in their weaknesses and comforts them in their sorrow. He is the teacher and intercedes for the believer.   The Holy Spirit is our guarantee that we are God’s children and He is the power by which we put to death the deeds of the body.

Baptism

• Baptism is a request to God for a clear conscience.  It is an outward expression of an inward experience of all that took place at the moment of faith.  Jesus commands that all those who place their faith in Him should get baptized.  The disciples did this by full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name given under heaven by which we are saved.  Baptism represents the death and burial of the old life and the Resurrection of the new life, Christ IN me.

The Church

• The Body of Christ, is made up of many labourers, whose faith is in Jesus and the finished work of the cross.  Jesus Himself is building His church and nothing can stop it.  Jesus is the head of the Church and speaks to the church through His Holy Spirit. The church is the bride of Christ who is being prepared while on earth to meet her groom.

Salvation

• When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they took on Sin, became sinners and as a result, all their offspring were born in sin, separate from God, and in need of a savior.  God the Father, sent His only begotten son into the world to be born as a man by miraculously impregnating the virgin Mary.  Jesus lived a sinless life and gave His life as a ransom for sin on a cross.  All who call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who place their faith in Jesus as the only sacrifice for their sin, will be saved from eternal punishment.  Those who do not, remain condemned and will spend eternity without God

Heaven

• Heaven Is Real and it has a door - Jesus.  There is only One Way to get into Heaven, you must be born again.  You must be IN Christ.  Jesus is the only one who descended from heaven and will ascend into heaven.  All who are IN Him, will be with Him for eternity.

Eternity

• God is not a God of time.  God always was and always will be.  Our life on this earth is short, and once it is over, we will either spend forever with Jesus or away from Jesus.  The Bible teaches that Eternal life is not something, but someone, namely, Jesus.  Jesus is Eternal Life.

Communion

• Communion also known as the Lord’s supper was taught by Jesus on the night when He was betrayed when He ate the Passover with them.  He commanded all who believe in Him to eat the bread and drink the cup in remembrance of His death for the forgiveness of our sins.  The bread represents the body of the Lord which was broken and the cup represents His blood which was shed for our restoration to the Father.  No greater demonstration of love has ever been shown on the earth.  It is a command of remembrance from the Lord that we do with deep gratitude.

Healing

• Scripture teaches that healing and deliverance from oppression is found in Jesus.  By His stripes we are healed.  All who place their faith in Jesus have access to His healing through the Holy Spirit.  Jesus said that healing and deliverance should be a normality in the lives of those who believe in Him.
