​Full-time Discipleship Training Program
January to April
Zion Academy exists to equip, empower, disciple and mentor young leaders whose hearts want to go deeper to learn more about Jesus personally. Biblical discipleship and mentoring is the heartbeat of the academy. Our leadership team has a heart for young people to grab hold of His truth and soar to new heights with the Lord. They learn to be a disciple of Christ.

​Mentoring and discipling others to freedom is God's instruction to all His followers. However, have you ever felt upqualfied, ill-equip to help others with the trauma so many have walked through? How do you help them find peace in their struggle?

Meet The Leadership Team
Zion's leadership was founded with a local couple who decided to answer His call and walk in obedience on this path.
God is faithfully connecting the academy leadership to amazing men and women of faith. These divine connections are passionate about living for the Lord, and equipping others with the understanding of who our God is. These men and women have various ministries in the nearby communities which will enlarge our understanding to the many ways to share the gospel.
We are thrilled with these connections and trust that each one of them will bring His word to the students.
Will Feenstra
Discipleship/Lead Pastor
Will Feenstra is the Lead Discipleship Pastor. He has worked with youth since 2001 years and has loved walking alongside the next generation. He has been a Discipleship Counsellor since 2018, assisting people through their struggles and the lead Pastor at Zion Ministries since 2023.
Alison Brown
Board Member/ Discipleship Mentor
Alison has completed the Exchanged life Advanced training and has been a discipleship counsellor and mentor since 2021. Her hearts passion is to walk along side women who are struggling and help them discover true and lasting freedom in Jesus Christ. Alison and Graham are highschool sweethearts and have been blessed with three boys.
Laura Feenstra
Administration
Laura Feenstra is head of the administration. She serves mainly behind the scenes in a variety of important ways to keep the ship moving. She has a heart for worship and creating welcoming atmospheres. Laura and Will have been married since 2001 and have 5 adult/teen children.
Graham Brown
Board Member/ Discipleship Mentor
Graham has a passion for worship and helping people discover freedom in Christ. He is completing the Zion mentoring and dicipling training to assist in equipping people with the gospel. He has been a leader in an entrepreneur capacity for several years, as well as a soccer coach, and served as a youth leader and church camp counsellor.
