Meet The Leadership Team
Zion Ministries was founded by a local couple in Centre Wellington who answered God's call and chose to walk forward in obedience. When asked why the name "Zion", our response is simple: our identity is rooted in "the place where the Lord chooses to dwell."
We believe God is building more than a ministry—He is establishing a family of believers who desire to know Him, honor His presence, and make His name known.
Along the way, God has faithfully connected our leadership team with incredible men and women of faith who share a passion for Jesus and a desire to equip others with a deeper understanding of who He is. These leaders bring a variety of gifts, experiences, and ministries from communities throughout the region, providing a rich expression of the many ways God is advancing His Kingdom and sharing the Gospel.
We are grateful for these divine connections and honored to walk alongside each person as they bring their unique experiences, wisdom, and passion to help equip and encourage the next generation of believers.

Will Feenstra
Discipleship/Lead Pastor
Will Feenstra serves as the Lead Discipleship Pastor at Zion Ministries. Since 2001, he has faithfully invested in the lives of young people, walking alongside the next generation as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. His heart is to encourage, disciple, and equip believers to live confidently in the truth of God's Word.
Ordained through Anchor Ministerial Fellowship in 2017, Will has also served as a Discipleship Counsellor since 2018. He is passionate about helping people encounter the transforming power of Scripture, discover their identity in Christ, and walk in the fullness of all God has called them to be.
Will's greatest desire is to see people not only hear the truth of God's Word but embrace it, allowing it to transform their hearts, renew their minds, and shape every area of their lives.
Laura Feenstra
Administration
Laura Feenstra has been married to Will since 2001, and together they are blessed with five children. She faithfully serves alongside her husband at Zion Ministries, supporting the ministry in countless ways behind the scenes while helping cultivate an atmosphere where people feel welcomed and can encounter the presence of God.
Laura has a deep passion for worship and creating spaces where hearts are drawn to Jesus. She graduated from Ascend Academy in 2024 and received her General Pastoral License through Anchor Ministerial Fellowship in 2025.
Her greatest desire is to see people discover the freedom found in Christ, embrace the hope He has secured for them, and walk confidently in their identity and purpose. Laura is passionate about encouraging others to encounter God's love, be transformed by His presence, and live in the fullness of the life He has promised.
